Kath Cox Pots

Hello and thank you for visiting the Kath Cox Pots website :)

I work out of a studio in Bishopthorpe, York. Well, not exactly a studio - more of a spare bedroom, a kitchen, a corner of the garage and an understanding husband…!

I worked for several years managing the Marketing and Design Department of a Yorkshire-based ceramics company, designing domestic tile ranges for B&Q, Homebase etc. Making my own ceramics seemed a logical step!

All my ceramics are hand-made (by me!) and fired on-site. I use different stoneware and porcelain clays - love finding new ones for unique effects. The glazes are all safe for food use (lead-free) and you can put Kath Cox Pots in your dishwasher and microwave. Beautiful. Everyday.
